In order to catalyse the self-development of remote communities in the framework of the Pakistan Poverty Reduction Programme PPR and a mechanism of interaction between universities and the territory, the online course organised by the Rome-based LUISS and Bahria University, with 5 Pakistani universities of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, was held between December 2020 and March 2021. The course is meant to create a group of Youth Communicators for Development.
The 5 Universities of Chitral, Swat, Malakand, Lasbela and Kech, located in the areas of intervention of the PPR, will increase their interactions for the development of the territory where youth are the connection with remote communities. The PPR is in its final phase and AICS works with the PPAF to consolidate its sustainability, the Young Communicators are thus a key element to ensuring the sustainability of most actions carried out by PPR.
